Behavioral Readiness Coaching Agreement

Last updated: May 1, 2026

This agreement is between Tactical Human Institute LLC ("THI," "we," or "us") and you, the client.

To deliver Behavioral Readiness Coaching, THI uses National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches. In this document, "Coach" refers to THI and any credentialed professional working on our behalf.

By clicking to accept this agreement, you agree to the rules and expectations below.

1. WHAT THIS SERVICE IS (AND ISN'T)

Coaching is a strategic partnership. We do not write a behavioral prescription for you; instead, we help you build your own system. The goal is to establish new, durable habits that improve your operational readiness and recovery.

  • You do the building: You are the author of your readiness system. Your Coach acts as a facilitator and sounding board.

  • Not Therapy: Coaching is focused on present performance and future goals. It is not therapy, mental health counseling, or medical treatment. If you require clinical support, we will help direct you to the right professionals.

2. WHAT WE DO (COACH RESPONSIBILITIES)

Your Coach is there to help you optimize your behavioral readiness and self-confidence. We will:

  • Ask the Hard Questions: We use objective inquiry to help you identify what drives you, what stands in your way, and how to overcome those obstacles.

  • Listen Objectively: We will listen to you without judgment and without forcing our own agenda onto your life.

  • Demand Realism: We will help you set realistic goals and provide direct, firm feedback when your actions do not match your stated mission.

  • Provide Frameworks: Rather than giving you a generic checklist, we will provide the frameworks for you to figure out how to integrate recovery and readiness into your specific high-stress lifestyle.

  • Stay in Our Lane: If a problem falls outside our professional scope of practice, we will tell you immediately and recommend other avenues of support.

3. WHAT YOU DO (CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES)

Because this system relies on your autonomy, your success depends entirely on your engagement. You must:

  • Own the Outcome: You take full responsibility for making and maintaining changes in your performance and lifestyle.

  • Commit to the Process: You agree to fully invest in the initial 3-month block to give these new behavioral systems time to adapt and work.

  • Be Honest: You will share the real, unvarnished truth about your habits, readiness, and recovery. The system only works if the data is accurate.

  • Embrace Failure: You understand that setbacks, friction, and failures are a normal and necessary part of building new behaviors.

  • Speak Up: If you need different support, different feedback, or a change in scheduling, it is your job to tell your Coach immediately.

4. CONFIDENTIALITY

What we discuss stays between us.

  • We will keep all conversations and information strictly private and confidential, to the full extent allowed by law.

  • We will never share your personal information with a third party without your explicit written permission—except in cases where there is an imminent threat of serious injury to yourself or others.

5. SHOWING UP AND CANCELLATIONS

To keep operations running smoothly, we strictly follow these rules:

  • Where We Meet: Sessions take place via video call (Google Meet) or in person, depending on your selected package and location.

  • Be On Time: We allow a 10-minute grace period. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the session is canceled as a "No-Show" and you forfeit that session for the month. If your Coach is more than 10 minutes late, you can reschedule the session at no cost or penalty.

  • 24-Hour Notice: You must give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a meeting. If you change or cancel within 24 hours of the start time, you forfeit that session.

6. COST, COMMITMENT, AND CANCELLATION

  • The First 3 Months: Real behavioral change requires time and consistency. This program requires a 3-month initial commitment at $315.00 per month ($945.00 total). After the first 3 months, your plan shifts to a standard month-to-month subscription.

  • How to Cancel: After your first 3 months, you can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account portal at tacticalhumaninstitute.com/account/login.

  • Access After Cancellation: When you cancel, you keep access to any digital resources and Coach support until your current billing month ends. On the last day of that cycle, all access and support will immediately stop.

  • No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for any reason. This includes moving, getting injured, getting sick, not booking your sessions, or simply changing your mind about our coaching style.

  • The Tactical Pause: We understand the unpredictable nature of tactical professions. If you face an official deployment or prolonged field training exercise (FTX) without connectivity, simply use the standard cancellation procedure before you leave. When you return and are ready to resume coaching, contact us. We will seamlessly reinstate your account without requiring you to repeat the initial 3-month commitment block.
