Last updated: January 19, 2026
This agreement is made between Tactical Human Institute LLC, 619 Alethea Park Drive, El Paso, TX 79902 (“Coach” or “THI”) and the individual accessing the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable (“Client”) on the day of purchase. The Client and Coach agree to engage fully in the coaching experience.
The Client recognizes that coaching is not therapy, counseling, or consulting.
Coach Responsibilities
The Coach’s role is to help the Client improve their wellness, and the ability and self-confidence to maintain a higher level of wellness.
Through a coaching inquiry, the Coach will encourage the Client to identify their wellness vision, motivators, obstacles, and strategies to overcome them.
The Coach will listen to the Client attentively and without judgment or the Coach’s own agenda.
Where possible, the Coach will ask questions and encourage the Client to arrive at their own answers.
The Coach will encourage realistic expectations and goals.
The Coach will be direct and firm with feedback when needed.
The Coach will help identify creative solutions to get around roadblocks.
The Coach will provide advice and instruction for engineering wellness activities into the Client’s busy life.
The Coach will be punctual and responsive.
The Coach will recognize early whether the chemistry with the Client is optimal and refers the Client to another organization if needed.
The Coach will acknowledge when the Client has an issue outside the Coach’s scope of knowledge and recommends other avenues.
Client Responsibilities
The Client wants to improve their level of wellness and believes that a higher level of wellness will bring them powerful benefits.
The Client is ready to take responsibility for making and sustaining changes in at least one area of wellness.
The Client is ready to invest at least four sessions to make improvements.
The Client will be open and honest and will share personal information relevant to wellness.
The Client is ready to become more self-aware and open to trying new things.
The Client understands that setbacks are normal on the path to change and necessary to establish new behaviors.
The Client will be punctual and responsive.
The Client will ask the Coach for the support, feedback, or resources they need.
The Client will let the Coach know as soon as possible if an issue develops that could alter the normal scheduling and four-session agreement.
Confidentiality
The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and confidential, as allowable by law.
No personal information will be shared with anyone without the Client’s express permission, except in cases of imminent threat of serious injury to oneself or others.
Coaching Commitment
By entering into this relationship, the Client and Coach acknowledge that behavioral change takes time. As such, both parties agree to a minimum of a 3-month relationship.
Coaching Session Procedures
Coaching sessions may occur in person or via Google Meet, depending on the venue that works best for the Client and the selected coaching package.
The Coach and Client agree to adhere to established appointment times.
The Coach and Client agree to begin and finish all appointments on time. If the Client is more than 15 minutes late, the appointment is canceled, and the Client is responsible for the full fee. If the Coach is more than 15 minutes late, the Client shall not be responsible for payment for that session.
The Client agrees to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Any changes within 24 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Coaching Fees
Coaching packages are outlined on the Performance & Resilience Coaching page. For each of these packages, the Coach requests a 3-month commitment from the Client. If the Client desires to terminate the relationship prior to 3 months, at least 30 days advance notice is required for a full refund of remaining sessions.
Coaching packages expire 120 days from the date of purchase.
Fees are payable before services are provided via the Tactical Human Institute website (facilitated by Stripe).
